Reflection Dobby woven monofilament

These, monofilament on monofilament, Dobby woven swatches show changeability. Weaving with a transparent warp and weft takes a lot of experimentation. I created an inch of many different weaves before finding the weaves with enough depth and distinction. This process was very exciting because often the weave looks entirely different from the pattern is was created from. Not only do the weaves change from the pattern, but the weave itself looks very different when viewed from other angles or in alternative lighting.
